How many people does a Cadillac Escalade seat?
Cadillac rates it at up to seven or eight depending on the second-row layout. Chauffeured with luggage, six is the realistic number, which is how we book our luxury SUV.
What is the difference between the Escalade and the ESV?
Cargo, mostly. The ESV carries 41.5 cubic feet behind the third row against 25.5 in the standard car, and 142.2 at maximum against 120.5. Same seating either way.
Does the Escalade still have the curved OLED screen?
That was the previous generation. The current Escalade uses a 55-inch Horizon Display across the dash, paired with an AKG Studio Reference surround system.

Inside, the sleek leather-trimmed cabin carries brushed aluminum and polished chrome, an AKG Studio Reference surround system, and a 55-inch Horizon Display running the width of the dash. The available Executive Second Row adds fourteen-way heated and ventilated seats with massage, plus stowable tray tables, which is where a chauffeured Escalade earns its keep.
Magnetic Ride Control reads the road surface and adjusts continuously, so the ride stays smooth whatever the weather decides to do between Uptown and the airport. Details matter, and a vehicle that demonstrates polish is one of them.
