Cowboys at Giants

Openers are strange things. Nobody knows anything yet, every team is undefeated, and the season is still theoretically perfect. This one starts in New Jersey on a Sunday night, which means Dallas spends the afternoon pacing and the evening finding out whether the optimism of August survives contact with the Giants. MetLife is a big, blunt, honest building that has never much cared who was favored walking in. The Giants play the Cowboys like it is the only game on their schedule, which for long stretches of NFC East history it very nearly has been. Week one, on the road, against a division rival is the sort of game that tells you something real by about nine o clock. Nobody in Dallas will be doing anything else that night, several hundred miles from the noise and no less invested in it.

Sunday, September 13. Kickoff at 7:20 PM CT, which is 8:20 PM ET on the stadium clock. MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ. NBC has the broadcast.

This one is not ours to sell. DallasVIP does not run travel, tickets or hospitality outside North Texas, and a countdown on a page is not an invitation to a stadium we cannot get you into. The dates we can do anything about are the ones played closer to home, and every one still on the schedule is listed below with a suite, a driver, a tailgate and seats behind it. Pick a date and we will handle the rest of the day around it.
